Just Another Girl on the IRT…is a classic piece of black cinema. It’s always interesting to go back and watch a film that you haven’t seen for years. That was the case with this film. It was originally released in ‘92 and oh, how I love my ’90s cinema. Chantel, the main character of the film (pictured above) is determined to make something of herself. She’s going places and doesn’t mind letting everyone know. However, she ends up hitting some road blocks along the way.
I loved this film when I initially watched it, but after seeing it again several years later I noticed a few small things that I won’t mention because I want you to watch it and form your own opinions. Nonetheless, I still think it’s a great film.
